After his huge commercial success with the blockbuster Geetha Govindam, the biggest Tollywood hit of the year, young sensational hero Vijay Deverakonda has made a return to silver screens with his mass political avatar in NOTA directed by Anand Shakar, which has released in Telugu and Tamil. Varun(Vijay Deverakonda) is the spoilt brat son of Chief minister Vasudev(Nasser), and one day all of a sudden he is made the CM, While corruption charges are made against Vasudev, riots erupt and Varun controls them well, but his image is ruined with his drunk state photos, and later Varun turns to another avatar, as he transforms and takes efforts to help people during floods, A No confidence motion is passed against him by Nasser cadre and opposition. How Varun uses his political brain and masterminds himself to winning the opposition to retain the CM seat is what NOTA is all about.



Vijay Deverakonda is impressive as the young first-time unexpected politician and as the CM he excels with his sharp emotions and reactions and is supported well by Sathyaraj and Nasser. Mehreen is wasted while Sanchana Natrajan is adequate. Music by Sam CS elevates some mass political encounter scenes, and confrontation scenes,and Anand Shankar's pacy screenplay in the second half makes sure, NOTA makes up for the slightly dragged first half, and ultimately, NOTA emerges as a neat political thriller and another winner for the sensational Vijay Deverakonda.
