However, after a cameo in Imaikkaa Nodigal pairing with lady Superstar Nayanthara, today the actor had a release in the form of the romantic entertainer 96, directed by debutant Premkumar and costarring the ever gorgeous Trisha.
While there were special 5 AM shows planned across the state, these shows for canceled at last moment due to financial issues and this was when Makkal Selvan stepped up to give his salary of 3 crores and an extra crore to resolve financial issues and smoothened the release from 8 am shows. This was revealed recently.
