Actress Poorna who had starred in several Malayalam movies had then made waves with her Tamil debut Muniyandi with Bharath and though the movie was a flop, she was being hailed as the Junior Asin. But, the actress failed on a repeated note.
However her later releases like Kanda Kottai, Vellore Mavattam and Telugu movies like Seema Tapakai etc failed big time and she could succeed only with hot acts in movies like Avunu series and Savarakathi.
The actress who danced for a song in Srimanthudu made a comeback with Ivanuku engayo macham Iruku starring vemal and Aashna Zaveri. The movie showcased her as a cop. But, it failed too. So, now the actress has decided to return as an item number. She will be doing an item number in a new project.
