Natural Star Nani has not been a happy man of late, as his last two ventures, his double-action entertainer Krishnarjuna Yuddham and his multistarrer with Nagarjuna Devadas, both failing to set the box office on fire, and with rising heroes like Vijay Deverakonda stealing his thunder.
Besides, the failure of his hosting of Bigg boss Telugu season 2 has also dampened his spirits as he had been criticized heavily as he was biased, and now, the actor bounced back with 'Jersey' directed by Gautam Tinanuri of Malli Raava fame.
As Jersey has him playing a cricketer, Nani has reportedly given his nod for a rural entertainer to be directed by debutant Kishorudu who has made few short films, and the movie will have Natural star as a farmer and will be bankrolled by Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta in 14 reels banner. Shruti Haasan is expected to do the female lead role in this venture.
