After the dud result of his last outing Shailaja Reddy Alludu, hero Naga Chaitanya is back with the chocolate boy Madhavan in an action-packed villain avatar, in Savysachi directed by Premam and Kartikeya fame Chandoo Mondeti, Here's team AP Herald's first on net Savyasachi live report.

Savyasachi revolves around Vikram (Naga Chaitanya) who shares a great bond with his sister Bhumika, and he has vanishing twin syndrome. As he leads a peaceful life as an ad filmmaker, things get serious as his niece gets kidnapped by Arun (Madhavan). What follows is a cat and mouse chase game between Chay and Maddy, and why Maddy does it, and whether Chay was able to rescue his niece is what Savyasachi is all about.

Savyasachi has a dull first half followed by a massy second half which is gripping and racy and is powered by the impressive performance and screen presence of Madhavan, and the action-packed act of Chay.

The heroine Niddhi Agerwal is a typical eye candy, and the movie gains momentum from the interval block, Chandoo could have had an interesting first half as well, getting rid of songs, and the boring college episodes. Nevertheless, with Maddy's menacing act, Savyasachi emerges as a decent thriller with an interesting cat and mouse game.
