Prince Mahesh Babu's film Nenokkadine is already attracting the attention of buyers. Though the film is touted to be sankranti entertainer, heavy competition is there among buyers and various meida channels to bag the satellite rights of the film.

According to the latest the film's satellite rights reached stars and even then the rights for Telugu,Tamil and Malayalam verions were sold for Rs 12.5 crs. Many say this is a record for a Telugu film.

A close aide says “Sun Network has bought the satellite rights of Rs 12.5 crore. Along with satellite rights of Telugu, the deal includes the rights of Tamil and Malayalam versions as well, which is a first for a Telugu star’s film.”.

Reasoning the high rate, a source adds “Of course, it’s Mahesh’s charisma that seems to have worked for the producers to get the fancy price. His recent films 'Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' and 'Dookudu' have done exceptionally well at the box office. Of late, Telugu films have raised the bar. Even the satellite rights of Pawan Kalyan’s 'Attarintiki Daaredi' (the Telugu version alone) was sold to MAA network for Rs 8.5 to Rs 10 crore.”

Producer Ram Achanta who is bouyed by the response says “As of now we can’t disclose the figures but the satellite rights have been sold for a fancy price. This is, perhaps the first time the deal included the Tamil and Malayalam versions.".

Mahesh is romancing hot model Kriti Sannon in the film for which music is scored by Devi Sri Prasad.
