Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor, who had been going through a lean phase, ever since his humongous blockbuster success Ye Jawani Hai Deewani 5 years back, made a decent return with Ae Dil Hai Mushkil before two years, and since then had been looking for that big blockbuster.
And top maker Rajkumar Hirani just gifted him that elusive blockbuster this year in the form of the most expected and biggest Bollywood blockbuster of the year, the Sanjay Dutt biopic Sanju which went on to gross more than 500 crores and had become Ranbir's biggest hit in his career.
Now, the young hero is acting alongside his girlfriend Alia Bhatt, Big B Amitabh Bachchan, King Akkineni Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy in the fantasy entertainer Brahmastra, shot in exotic locales by his Ye Jawani Hai Deewani and Wake up Sid maker Ayan Mukerji, and this movie has been now announced to be Christmas 2019 release.
