Superstar Rajnikanth who was last seen in the action-packed Dharavi based gangster setup socio-political drama kaala by Pa Ranjith bounced back with his next big budget entertainer, 2.0, the sci-fi flick directed by creative and big budget movie maker Shankar.
2.0 is the sequel to the actor - director combo's 2009 blockbuster scifi thriller Endhiran/ Robot, and this second installment stars Rajni in dual roles as scientist Vaseegaran and Robot Chitti, besides Bollywood hero Akshay Kumar as the antagonist, and Brit bootylicious babe Amy Jackson.
The movie released worldwide in more than 9000 screens on November 29. Now, the movie has crossed the milestone of 500 Crores within a week's time. This is the first Kollywood movie ever to achieve that milestone. Watch out this space for more updates.
