This year witnessed one of the biggest surprises, as a small flick had survived amidst the likes of biggies like Mahanati, Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India, and had turned out to be a blockbuster, and that movie happens to be the bold and romantic entertainer RX 100.
Directed by debutant Ajay Bhupati, RX 100 starred debutants Kartikeya and Payal rajput and the movie went on to become a blockbuster much to the surprise of many. Post the success of RX 100, Kartikeya had received lots of offers and he had finally signed a movie named Hippi.
Hippi is bankrolled by Kalaipuli S Thanu in his V Creations and directed by TM Krishna who had earlier directed Sillunu Oru Kadhal and Nedunjalai, and now it has been revealed that Hippi will have two heroines, Hindi TV Serial actress Digangana Suryavanshi, and Jazba Singh as lead ladies.
