Akkineni prince Naga Chaitanya has been devoid of success for the past two years, as his last hit happened to be the remake flick Premam, which was an average grosser, and he followed it up with flops like Rarandoi Veduka Chudam, Yudhdham Sharanam last year.
While this year he began on a memorable note with his cameo as ANR in Mahanati, his solo hero movies like Shailaja Reddy Alludu and Savyasachi tanked badly at the box office, doubting his box office stamina, at a time when heroes like Vijay Deverakonda who arrived much later are jubilant.
Next, the hero is starring in a romantic feel-good entertainer named Majili, directed by Shiva Nirvana of Ninukori fame, and Chay has been growing his beard for the movie, and he'll be sporting a rough and tough look for the flashback portions of the movie, that also stars his wife Samantha. Majili will release mid-2019 and will be a relationship drama.
