Tollywood versatile senior actor Kota Srinivasa Rao has been recognized as a best actor in Telugu film industry by announcing his name for the Dr.Allu Ramalingaiah Kala peetam National Award for year 2013. Kota Srinivas Rao will be honored with the National Award on the name of the great legendary Telugu actor Allu Ramalingaiah.

The Organization committee of Dr.Allu Ramalingaiah Kala Peetam National Award has announced the name of Kota Srinivasa Rao on Wednesday in Hyderabad. The award will be conferred to Versatile actor on September 30th of this month in Vijayawada.

The 66-years-old Kota Srinivasa Rao has carved his niche in Telugu film Industry with his own style of acting. He has been in film Industry since 1978. He made debut in Tollywood with the film ‘Pranam Kareedu’. So far, he acted in about 650 films. He portrayed all kinds of roles in film industry. He is well known for his villain characters in the films.

The prominent film personalities Manorama, K.Vishwanath, S.P.Bala Subraanyam, Kaikala Sathyanarayana, Padbhanabham, EVV Sathyanarayana, Bramhanandam, Tanikella Bharani Rajendra Prasad and Jonny Lever were received Allu Ramalingaiah national award in the past. The Tollywood bigwigs will grace the award function onSeptember 20.
