Thookudurai(Ajith) is a do-gooder whose violent ways separate his wife Niranjana (Nayanthara) and their daughter Swetha from him. As Thookudurai enters Mumbai he finds danger for his daughter. How Thookudurai saves her and joins his family is what Viswasam is all about.
Thala Ajith is mass and class personified as he excels in both avatars with his cool and lively act and Nayanthara is pretty and emotes well. The rest of the cast is adequate. With an engaging screenplay with equal dosage of mass and sentiments, with good background score from Imman and stunning visuals, Thala Ajith and Siva combo strike the box office yet again with a perfect Pongal feast Viswasam!
