The television reality game show Bigg Boss hosted by Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan in star Vijay TV had completed its second season months back and it was also a successful one thanks to the actor's charisma and hosting.
The show saw Shariq, the son of actors Riyaz Khan and Uma Riyaz Khan who had earlier played the villain in GV Prakash starrer Pencil, as one of the contestants and he had been one of the toughest contestants of the season and was romantically linked to Aishwarya Dutta.
Now he's all set to turn hero as he's starring in two movies, namely 143 directed by debutant Prashanth Karan and another movie named Ugramm directed by Rathna Linga who has earlier directed a movie Attu and costarring Archana Ravi. Controversial Lesbian pair Janani Iyer and Aishwarya will be part of this project too.
