The youngest of the Akkineni family, Akhil Akkineni has been waiting to score that elusive hit in his career, as his first two movies sunk without a trace. While his first Akhil The power of Jua was a disaster, his second, Hello won decent reviews and yet failed commercially.
After a long gap, he chose his third movie, opting to work with young maker Venky Atluri who had earlier this year delivered success in the form of the romantic entertainer Tholi Prema, and their combo movie, titled as Mr. Majnu failed to strike gold at the Box-Office.
Mr. Majnu is bankrolled by BVSN Prasad and is predominantly set in London, and costars Chay's Savyasachi pair Niddhi Agerwal this time as Akhil's pair, and now, the movie ended as a failure. Nidhi Agerwal already failed with Naga Chaitanya and now failed with Akhil too.
