Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi is on a high, as his movies this year, his production venture Merku Thodarchi malai being critically acclaimed and his acting ventures Chekka Chivantha Vaanam and 96 becoming blockbuster movies.
Now, the actor, failed in both his silver jubilee flick Seethakaathi directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan releasing which got released on December 20 and Superstar Rajnikanth starrer Petta where he plays the villain and is anticipating the release of 'Super Deluxe'.
Yesterday, his next movie Maamanithan, directed by his mentor Seenu Ramasamy began shooting and this movie bankrolled by Yuvan Shankar Raja has him playing an auto driver and the Movie has music by isaignani Ilayaraja and Yuvan himself. He also started his next project titled 'Laabam' and this movie will feature Shruti Haasan as the female lead role. Shruti has signed the dotted line after a long hiatus.
