Once upon a time action hero Akshay Kumar, who started off with massy masala hero roles in movies like the Khiladi series, went on to play the comic hero post flicks like Hera Pheri, etc, and later turned out to be a comic hero who balances between mass entertainers and comedies.
Of late, he got inclined towards social entertainers like Baby, Padman, Toilet Ek Prem Katha, Airlift, Rustum etc, and balanced between his comedy entertainers like the Housefull series which has reached its fourth part now, releasing next year. Now, he has completed another patriotic entertainer.
The shooting of his next, the Anurag Singh directed social entertainer, the period flick Kesari, based on the battle of Saragarhi has completed shooting, and co-starring Parineeti Chopra, the movie bankrolled by Karan Johar now has been scheduled to release on March 21, 2019.
