Superstar Mahesh Babu has been one of the biggest stars of the country, and rising from the shadow of his father Krishna, to set an identity for himself as a Superstar, the actor has come a long way, and is the reigning king of Tollywood box office, among his contemporaries.
The actor who does not like remakes tried for the first time to set foot in another industry, with last year's SPYder directed by AR Murugadoss, which was a Tamil/Telugu bilingual which was a huge disaster, and following the failure, reportedly the actor had terminated his Tamil dreams.
Mahesh Babu had always said that he was happy doing Telugu movies, and thanks to God, he has got a huge fanbase in AP/TG. However recently there were rumors that in 2020 he will enter Bollywood, Mahesh Babu dismissed the rumors, stating that Bollywood was a waste of time for him, and he is happy doing Telugu movies. Now, a Tamil media reported that Mahesh is planning to work under Atlee direction for a bilingual and Megha Akash might do the female lead in the project.
