Director Shakthi Soundararajan had debuted almost a decade back with the heist thriller Nanayam starring Prasanna and costarring Sibiraj as the antagonist, and the movie met with good reviews though was a flop.
However, he came back strong with his dog based crime drama Naaigak Jaakirathai starring Sibiraj which was a success and he then went on to make Hits Miruthan and Tik Tik Tik with Jayam Ravi both making him bankable.
With Sibiraj last seen in Kshanam remake Sathya, and currently acting in a number of movies like Ranga, Maayon, the latest announcement is that he will soon begin his third movie with Shakthi Soundararajan this year, which will be produced by Nathambal Film factory owned by his father Sathyaraj. Adah Sharma will be doing the female lead role with Sibi in this venture.
