The movie begins establishing Kalyan Ram's smooth life with love Shalini Pandey and family and takes a turn with him witnessing visuals of Nivetha Thomas death. Was Nivetha Thomas a real person and whether she's really dead, and was Kalyan Ram able to resolve the whole mystery is what the movie is all about.
Kalyan Ram and Nivetha Thomas have given earnest performances while the cinematography by KV Guhan is impressive and top-notch while his screenplay is weak in the second half. The suspense built well in the first half is let down by drags in the second half, ultimately making 118 ends up as an average outing which deserves a watch for its interesting premise.
