This year her first project is gonna be the remake of Korean blockbuster movie Miss Granny that has an interesting plot of a 70-year-old woman's soul getting caught in the body of a 20-year-old woman, and special makeup artists were brought for the movie's prosthetic makeup for Samantha.
However now news is that the team has roped in senior actress Lakshmi to play the 70-year-old woman, and Samantha will play only the 20-year-old girl, and this movie bankrolled by Suresh Productions will have Naga Shaurya as the male lead.
