While initially it was speculated that Tollywood sensation Vijay Deverakonda will be playing Tamilnadu based cricketer Krishnamachari Srikkanth who played for an Indian cricket team in Kapil Dev Biopic 83, now the film has undergone a change.
Tamil hero Jiiva, the son of veteran producer super good films RB Choudhary has been roped in to play the role of Srikkanth in the movie that is directed by Kabir Khan of tiger series with Salman Khan and Bhajrangi Bhaijaan.
Reportedly the movie Bankrolled by Vishnu Induri will begin shooting from March and will go on for 100 days in London. Jiiva had got trained by former Indian pacer Balwinder Singh Sandhu. 83 also stars Ranveer Singh and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
