Victory Venkatesh had once been the most sought after hero in Tollywood and had stayed firm despite the rise of the younger generation like Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR, Prabhas, etc. However, over the last decade, his career had witnessed a drastic decline and his downfall had begun.
His only hit happened to be the multistarrer Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, and the average outing Drishyam, while Guru failed despite good reviews. On the other hand, he started playing cameo roles in movies like Premam, Agnyaathavaasi etc, and it was expected he won't win as the hero at all.
However, just like how Nag returned to form a few years back with Soggade Chinni Nayana, Venky has made a grand return to form with this Sankranthi winner F2 Fun and Frustration which has become a hit despite no great storyline only due to Venky comedy and single-handedly taking the movie to victory. The movie made profits with 110% recovery and the makers are expecting it to end with 50 crores share at the end of the run. Venky is truly back in style and Anil Ravipudi must be thanked for bringing back the family entertainer Venky in full form. Now, the movie is going to Tamil under the same title 'F2'.
