King Akkineni Nagarjuna was last seen in the action thriller Officer directed by Ram Gopal Varma which was a huge disaster. His prior movies like Raju Gari Gadhi 2 and Om Namo Venkatesaya were also failed miserably.
Next, the director has signed to work with none other than Rahul Ravindran who made a promising debut with Chi la sow last year and now this second movie is gonna be Manmadhudu 2, the sequel to the 2002 movie. Trisha will be doing the female lead along with Nag in this sequel.
Directed by K.Vijaya Bhaskar, the 2002 movie co-starred Sonali Bendre and Anshu and had dialogues by Trivikram Srinivas. This sequel will begin shooting in Portugal soon and will have character artist Rao Ramesh in a pivotal role.
