Upcoming star hero Atharvaa, had a mixed year in 2018 as his first ever production venture directed by Badri Venkatesh Semma Botha Aagathey was a flop but however, he compensated for the disaster with his next release the Ajay Gnanamuthu directorial thriller Imaikkaa Nodigal, which had him playing Nayanthara's brother.
Next, he is acting in Kuruthi Aattam, a movie directed by Sri Ganesh who had debuted in a promising way with 8 Thottakal starring MS Baskar and Nasser and this movie set in Madurai is almost complete except for 15 days of the shoot, and the movie has Atharva playing a wad boy.
His character will also be an ardent Ajith fan and a kabaddi player, and for a scene, a real photo of Atharva and Ajith clicked in a function was used hanged in Atharva's home and the movie also features a theater celebration scene of Viswasam. Kuruthi Aattam also stars Radhravi and Radhika.
