The Walt Disney Company has now officially acquired 21st Century Fox in a humongous $71 Billion deal. This means that all of Fox's subsidiaries like Fox film and TV studios, the FX networks, National Geographic will be under Disney's roof from now on.
Disney Plus has boosted its content and has more control over TV shows and movies. Mr.Robert Iger, the chairman, and CEO of Walt Disney Company said, "This is a historic moment. Merging Disney and 20th Century Fox will lead to an incredibly dynamic and transformative era."
Now, as Disney has bought FOX for a whopping price, we can expect some huge competition to other streaming giants such as Amazon Prime Video and Netflix.
