Natural star Nani was last seen in movies like Krishnarjuna Yudhdham and Devdas and a failed stint on TV with Bigg Boss season 2 show hosting after which he's waiting for his next Jersey. The teaser and few lyrical videos have got good attention.
Directed by Gautam Tinanuri who had earlier made the breezy romantic entertainer Malli Raava Jersey is a sports based flick which revolves around a cricketer played by Nani and his struggles in reaching his goal. However, the lip-lock video created a huge controversy.
The shooting of Jersey has been wrapped and the movie already has entered post production phase. Shraddha Srinath who does the female lead confessed that it was done to grab everyone's attention and to promote it. The movie also features Sathyaraj in a key role, 'Jersey' will be releasing worldwide on April 19.
