Lady Superstar Nayanthara was last seen in the Thala Ajith starrer Viswasam directed by Siva which had her playing Niranjana a doctor, entrepreneur and a doting mother and her performance won her praises and extremely positive reviews and the movie was a blockbuster as well.
Next, she was seen playing the lead in Airaa directed by KM Sarjun of Maa and Lakshmi short films fame and Echarikkai Ithu Manithargal Nadamadum Idam and the movie had her paired with Kalaiyarasan of Madras fame. After 'CoCo', this is the first time Nayan is doing a solo female lead.
The movie which released last week had huge expectations. But now it sunk without a trace and it has been replaced with various movies even before it completed its first week of the run. A weak script and cliched horror scenes never worked well with the audience. The movie has been labeled as a flop.
