Bollywood town one of the star heroes, Aamir Khan has got special recognition for hosting the TV Reality show of ‘Sathyamev Jayathe’. Now, his efforts for highlighting the social issues through TV Show, has brought him an award from US Organization. Aamir Khan has been selected for a US Award for his contribution to the society through ‘Sathyamev Jayathe’. Besides Aamir Khan, Popular American Director Kethryn Bigelow will receive the Award on October 28th in Washington DC. They will be honored at the Inaugural awards dinner by the American Abroad Media (AAM) in Washington DC.
The Organization stated that “Their work exemplifies the power of media to inform, educate and empower citizens about the critical social and public policy issues of our time,” American Abroad Media said Khan’s TV series, “Satyamev Jayate,” explores India’s biggest social challenges and has been seen by hundreds of millions of people in his country and across Asia. Khan was also recently selected as one of TIME Magazine’s 100 most influential people.
