The CBFC granted U certificate for Modi's Biopic, but the Election Commission has stopped the release of Modi Biopic once again. The EC has postponed the movie, till the elections are over. The EC said that any medium which disturbs the playing field during the elections should not be displayed in the electronic media and this results in banning of the film just a day before its release.
The Congress party alleged that the movie's release has violated the moral conduct and they also called it as a political venture and not an artistic venture. Producer Sandeep Singh said, "I hope no parties in India had any problem.
It's just because of the EC our film is postponed. We are grateful to everyone who prayed for us. We thank the CBFC for clearing our movie with a clean U and no cuts." Vivek Oberoi who plays PM Modi in the movie targeted the Congress and said, "They are scared of the movie or of Chowkidar's danda". Congress responded the movie is just a "Bogus".
