Controversial actor Simbu aka STR gave a comeback with Chekka Chivantha Vaanam directed by ace director Maniratnam last year and the movie was a huge blockbuster and Simbu was appreciated for his performance as gangster Ethi.
However the actor could not sustain the momentum as his recent movie Vanthaa Rajavathaan Varuven directed by Sundar.c which was the remake of Attarintiki Daaredhi was a disastrous outing and next, he's all set to star in a movie Maanaadu. In this movie, Raashi Khanna is doing the female lead. Now, reports confirm that Hansika will also be part of the movie.
Directed by Venkat Prabhu this movie produced by Suresh will be a political entertainer and will also star Jai as the second hero. Earlier Simbu and Jai played leads in dropped movie Vettai Mannan and were also seen together in movies like Idhu Namma Aalu and vaalu. Maanaadu will begin shooting next month.
