Director Sukumar had last directed the rural political entertainer Rangasthalam which turned out to be non-Baahubali 2 industry blockbuster and the biggest blockbuster in the career of Sukumar as well as Mega Powerstar Ramcharan and Samantha.
Post the movie he had signed to direct a movie with his One Nenokkadine hero superstar Mahesh Babu but since he's busy with Maharshi the director is currently focusing on his next production ventures. He is looking to score some hits to his name.
Now the director is all set to produce and pen story and screenplay for an upcoming movie which will have Mega princess Niharika Konidela who was last seen in Happy Wedding. This movie will be directed by an assistant of Sukumar.
