Siva Karthikeyan had been signed to star in a scifi flick to be directed by Indru Netru Naalai fame young director Ravikumar Rajendran and bankrolled by RD Raja in his 24 AM studios and the movie had begun shooting last year itself.
However, the Seemaraja debacle, Siva Karthikeyan concentrating on his own projects and huge losses in several movies meant that the project was in danger of getting shelved as it involved a huge budget being a scifi movie.
But the team gave a surprise as Siva Karthikeyan and Rakul Preet Singh resumed shooting for the movie tentatively titled as SK 14 in Chennai. The movie has music by AR Rahman and also stars Isha Koppikar. The shooting resumed again, but Rakul Preet is still yet to join the team. Scenes were shot which doesn't require her presence.
