After succeeding as a radio jockey with his impressive shows like cross talk, RJ Balaji had ventured into films as a comedian, and went on to star in movies like Idhu Enna Maayam, Devi, Thaanaa Serndha Koottam, Ivan Thanthiran, and Naanum Rowdythaan, and has now turned hero.
He has taken the hero avatar with his latest offering LKG which is directed by debutant Prabu and has story and screenplay also by Balaji himself and the movie was released a while back, with special 5 AM shows as well. Priya Anand did the female lead role and she returned after a brief hiatus.
LKG has received very good reviews and has grossed a whopping amount of 2.23 Crores in Chennai alone and has been a profitable venture. But, Priya Anand is unhappy as the actress couldn't sign any movies further. The actress said she wanted to do more projects.
