Singer Chinmayi had accused lyricist Vairamuthu of sexual harassment last year following which many women had accused him, and the Me too campaign had become viral and trending and many other actresses and celebrities exposed their sexual predators.
Chinmayi was removed from dubbing union following her me too allegations, and recently she had tweeted to Union minister for women and child development Maneka Gandhi said that no action has been taken on Vairamuthu and that she lost her income and could not even file a case against him.
Maneka Gandhi responded to her asking her to message her details to her inbox in private message and had asked that this will be taken care by the National Commission for women and tagged the head of the commission, and assured help for Chinmayi in resolving this issue.
