From the last few months, Chennai Media Circles are abuzz with the news that the team of Universal Hero Kamal Hassan's Bharateeyudu 2 are considering shelving the project. Even before the conclusion of the first schedule, the film's budget has gone haywire and looks uncontrollable. If this goes on, the movie will pose a big risk and so, the film shoot was put on hold.
There were reports that Shankar is gearing up to move on to his Multi starer film of Vijay and Vikram. But the latest information is that Bharateeyudu 2 is being revived by bringing in Bollywood Corporate Giant, Reliance Entertainment as the Co-Producer. A decision on Bharateeyudu 2 will be taken after Kamal Hassan gets free from his Political Commitments.
Kamal Hassan in an interview revealed that his next film, Bharateeyudu 2 will be the last film of his career and he will be taking a fulltime plunge into politics after that. "Bharateeyudu 2 would be a continuation of the first part. It'll be director Shankar's core thought and political message. I'll also try to put across some of my political viewpoints through the film (sic)," Kamal told.
