Actor Karthi had last starred in the disastrous romantic entertainer titled Dev directed by debutant Rajath Ravishankar and costarring Rakul Preet Singh which was a huge flop losing more than 20 crores. The movie never even got back the investments and it was criticized so bad.
Next, the actor is starring in a full-on action thriller directed by Maanagaram fame young director Lokesh Kanagaraj and bankrolled by SR Prabhu of Dream Warrior pictures. Now it has been revealed that the movie is titled as Kaithi and the movie will showcase events happening in a single night and will have Karthi in a bearded look and will play a gangster.
