National Award winning actor dhanush was last seen in the mass don movie Maari 2 directed by Balaji Mohan which co-starred Sai Pallavi and Tovino and was an average outing. The actor rests big hopes on his upcoming array of movies.

Prior to that, he had starred in the critically acclaimed and commercially successful movie the raw and rustic gangster drama Vada Chennai directed by acclaimed maker Vetrimaran. The actor is shooting non-stop for this movie in Tuticorin.

Now after Pollathavan, Aadukalam and Vada Chennai they've collaborated yet again for Asuran based on novel Vekkai and this movie bankrolled by Kalaipuli S Thaanu is on fast forward mode, with two songs already composed by GV Prakash.
