Director AL vijay had last delivered the thriller flick Watchman starring GV Prakash and Samyuktha Hegde, and it was initially announced that another movie of the same director, Devi 2 would also release on the same date, but later Devi 2's release was postponed.
Devi 2 which is produced by GV Films and Trident Arts, and released by Screen Scene entertainment was censored a clean U, and the horror comedy also had two of its singles set to tunes by sam CS. The movie never had a good run at the Box-Office.
But now the movie faces trouble as recently a TV debate show with one of the presiding officers from censor board questioned the authorities for clearing the movie with a clean 'U' despite Tamanna's hot acts in the video song. Now, this issue has blown out of proportion.
