Makkal Selvan vijay Sethupathi was last seen playing a transgender shilpa in Thiagarajan Kumararaja's second directorial venture after Aaranya Kaandam, Super Deluxe which also featured Samantha, Fahadh Faasil and ramya Krishnan.
vijay Sethupathi's next release, the action-packed entertainer Sindhubaadh the third collaboration with director Su.Arunkumar after Pannaiyaarum Padminiyum and Sethupathiand bankrolled by Vansan Movies was announced to release on May 16. But due to financial issues, it got persistent delays.
After repeated delays finally it got released and it has been declared as a huge flop. The movie never even collected 1/3rd of its investments and this is the biggest flop in Anjali's career. anjali has been hugely upset with this failure as she had huge hopes.
