Superstar Rajnikanth is currently working on his 167th movie Darbar after the success of his last release the karthik Subbaraj directorial movie Petta which released on pongal this year. Darbar is said to have Superstar in a police officer character many years after Pandian.
Directed by AR murugadoss after the disastrous movie Sarkar this movie is bankrolled by lyca productions and will have Superstar paired with Lady Superstar Nayanthara and will also star Nivetha Thomas, yogi Babu, Kathir, dalip tahil, Shreya Gupta and prateik babbar.
Now it has been revealed that the film which began shooting on April 10, has wrapped its third schedule, and the team will resume shooting again today. The movie is set in mumbai and Rajni plays a cop eliminating mafia gangs in the city and has music by Anirudh.
