Director Chimbudeven has teamed with director Venkat prabhu for the multistarrer movie Kasadatabara, bankrolled by Venkat prabhu's Black Ticket Company, and this movie will be an anthology with 6 Stories. The director was last seen in shruti Haasan's 'Puli' which was a huge flop venture.
The movie's 6 editors are Kasi Viswanathan, raja Mohammed, Ruben, Anthony, vivek Harshan and praveen KL and the six cinematographers are Sakthi Saravanan, Balasubramaniam, MS prabhu, vijay Milton, RD Rajasekar and SR Kathir. Director Chimbu Deven last directed the disastrous fantasy entertainer Puli with Vijay, Sridevi, shruti Haasan, and hansika motwani and is returning to direction with his next movie Kasadatabara. The director also revealed that he won't be directing the sequel to 'Imsai Arasan Pulikesi' due to personal issues.
The title of the movie bankrolled by Venkat prabhu's Black Ticket Company and Trident Arts was released by Suriya and has tagline Tales of south Madras but it's said this is not an anthology. The stories will be different and the plots will be different and they will not be interconnected at any instant. Now it's official that the 6 music directors of Kasadatabara are Yuvan shankar Raja, Premgi, sam CS, Ghibran, santhosh Narayanan and Sean Roldan and the movie stars Harish Kalyan, Venkat prabhu, vijayalakshmi and many other actors.
