The raw and realistic gangster drama Pudhupettai helmed by the critically acclaimed maker Selvaraghavan and starring Dhanush, Sneha and sonia agarwal had celebrated its 13th anniversary of release recently. The movie was a flop at the Box-Office, but it got unanimous praises.
Pudhupettai had music by yuvan Shankar raja and cinematography by Arvind Krishna, and despite top-notch making the movie was a failure at the box office and when it was released recently, fans were celebrating it, and the movie also involved vijay Sethupathi in a cameo and Kamal Haasan as a singer. dhanush got turned on, on seeing the fans celebration even after all these years.
Coinciding with the release anniversary, dhanush got emotional and nostalgically said, "13 years of Pudhupettai. A true cult classic from the master filmmaker Selvaraghavan.
