Actor Arvind Swami was last seen in his mentor Maniratnam directorial multistarrer movie Chekka Chivantha Vaanam which was a superhit and the actor is currently acting in exciting new movies like Pulanaivu, Vanangamudi, Sathuranga Vettai 2, Kallapart to name a few.
Recently, Arvind Swamidubbed for the character Scar in the Tamil version of the Disney movie The Lion King. Interestingly, the same Arvind Swami had dubbed for the lead character Simba, 25 years back in the 1994 released animated version of The Lion King.
Arvind Swami said in an interview, "Last time it was Simba, this time we chose Scar.. had a lot of fun doing it. Hope u guys liked it". It must be noted that another Maniratnam protege actor siddharth dubbed for Simba in The Lion King. The actor also spoke on 'Sathuranga Vettai 2' where he paired with Trisha and the movie struggled to get a release all these days. He said, he wishes the movie releases soon as he had a hard time while romancing Trisha.
