I created a ‘50s song list that I listened to in the morning. The days I was shooting, I used special perfume with an old school fragrance. These became my tools to easily step into my role, says Elli For her role as Sylvia Nanavati in the web series The Verdict: State Vs Nanavati, Elli Avram did thorough research and practiced methodical acting tools to get into the skin of her character.
"There's very little information about Sylvia on the internet but I read whatever I could find. I created my own story of what I believe was hers from her teenage days to her older age. I worked on my English to get a more British accent and colored my hair lighter since she was a Brit. I created a ‘50s song list that I listened to in the morning. The days I was shooting, I used special perfume with an old school fragrance. These became my tools to easily step into my role," says the actress.
Recently, the light-eyed actress has been seen in a couple of dance numbers like Chamma Chamma in Fraud Saiyaan and Zila Hilela in Jabariya Jodi. However, Elli says that acting is her first passion followed by dancing. Besides The Verdict, the actress will be seen in Inside Edge 2.
