Vishal Sonkar won madhuri Dixit-Nene's Dance Deewane 2 and Salman Khan, priyanka chopra arrived to show their support for the show .Saturday night was interesting as madhuri Dixit-Nene's show Dance Deewane 2 witnessed its grand finale. Vishal Sonkar was crowned the winner of the show. He not only won the trophy but also took home a cheque of Rs. 15 lakhs. Along with Madhuri, director shashank Khaitan and choreographer Tushar Kalia were judges on the show.

While Vishal won the show, Mehul Mehta, Vihan Trivedi and Tweesha Patel were runner-ups on the show. Out of them, Mehul and Tweesha won a cash prize of Rs. 5 lakhs individually. Salman Khan announced Vishal's name a the winner on the show. "When I had auditioned for the show, I never thought I'll make it this at a great distance. My confidence increased with each scene and when salman khan Sir announced my name as the champ, my mother was in tears. She told me she wished my lovely and supportive father was here to see this,” the winner told Times Now.

Vishal also dreams of choreographing Madhuri someday. In an interview with IANS, he happened to mention, "This is just the beginning... I need to work all the more at this point. I need to see myself getting established as one of the fine choreographers in the business. The genuine voyage has now begun. I have heaps of dreams to satisfy and one of the enormous dreams is to choreograph Madhuri ma'am. Kaun nahi chahega unke saath kaam Karna (who wouldn't like to work with her)." The finale also witnessed performances by Priyanka Chopra, who was proud that Vishal hails from her hometown Jamshedpur. She grooved to Pinga from her sanjay leela bhansali directorial Bajirao Mastani. She also joined Madhuri in a face-off on Dola Re Dola. The original track from Bhansali's Devdas featured madhuri with aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
