Actor dhanush has joined hands with director vetrimaran in their fourth collaboration post-Pollathavan, Aadukalam and Vada Chennai, titled Asuran bankrolled by Kalaipuli S Thanu, and currently, the team is canning their final schedule.
As per initial plans the team had planned to have actor dhanush in dual roles as father and son, and Ken karunas son of actor karunas as the younger version of one of the roles of Dhanush. But recently dhanush revealed he will be playing the only role in multiple getups in Asuran. The actor also revealed that kajal aggarwal is not even in contention. It was a mere rumor that Kajal is part of the cast.
Asuran marks the Tamil debut of Mallu babe Manju Warrier, besides also the acting debut of Director Balaji Sakthivel, and has Pasupathy in a key role and has music by GV Prakash. This movie which is the film version of the acclaimed novel Vekkai by Poomani is gearing up for an October 4 release.
