From the past few months, it’s widely speculated that actor-turned-politician pawan kalyan is looking at all possibilities to stage a comeback into films. After Trivikram Srinivas's Agnyathavaasi tanked at the box office, the 48-year-old actor bid adieu to acting and turned himself into a full-time politician. He also contested in the recently-concluded State Assembly Elections but failed to secure a victory. Since then, it’s reported that pawan is hinting at a possible comeback to the showbiz world.

Meanwhile, speculations are rife that director krish Jagarlamudi has recently met the Power Star and even narrated a script to him. Besides the Vedam filmmaker, pawan has also met other directors to discuss their scripts. However, it’s said that the Jana Sena founder is in a quandary regarding his comeback to films.

According to a source in Deccan Chronicle, “Pawan is keen to make a comeback into films. However, the actor is wondering if he can strike a balance between his films and political career. Also, he is wondering whether he might invite any criticism if he gets back into films because he has, on several occasions, mentioned that he's a serious politician.”

During his interview with Tamil magazine Ananda Vikatan, chiranjeevi recalled his political experience. He said “When I entered politics I was the number one superstar in Telugu and I left everything behind. I joined politics with the sole intention to go ‘good’, but I was defeated in my own constituency as my rival spent crores of money to beat me. Same happened to pawan kalyan as well.”
