When he was admitted in kindergarten, his father decided to give him the surname of ‘Bachchan'. Even when census officials came to his place, he proudly said to them that he is an Indian first, he doesn’t belong to any religion.
Mr. Bachchan also spoke about the tradition his family follows in holi celebrations, by putting colour on the feet of highly respected and elderly ones. He further said that his father used to put colour on feet of people who cleans the toilet before starting the celebration of the festival.
