An alert has been sounded in the national capital after security agencies received inputs of a possible terror attack ahead of Durga Puja, police said on Thursday.
Airports across north india have been placed on high alert and security has been enhanced, NDTV reported, quoting officials.
Security has been complaining up across Delhi. Raids are being conducted by the Special Cell of delhi Police at several locations across the city, PTI reported.
Police said they received intelligence inputs suggesting three to four members of a terror appoint may have infiltrated into the city.


High alert and alarm about the nearness of suspected Jaish-E-Mohammed dangerous modules in the national capital had the delhi Police conducting searches in various regions all of Wednesday night yet without progress, news office IANS announced. Groups of the delhi Police Special Cell and the Crime Branch did the throughout the night search activity in 15 locales of the city till 5 A.M.


Searches were attended different locations in Zafrabad, Seelampur and Welcome Colony in Northeast; Jamia Nagar and Okhla in South; chandni Chowk, Chitli Kabar and chandni Mahal in Old Delhi; a few regions in East Delhi; and illegal settlements on the yamuna Bank. 


"We had the data that some Jaish-e-Mohammad psychological militants have sneaked into Delhi. So the Special Cell was involved in the inquiry activity, generally, the nearby police could have effectively grabbed the offenders," IANS cited a top delhi Police official as saying. 
In the interim, the delhi Police has additionally heightened watching and picketing in a few zones over the national capital as the city riggings up for durga puja and Ramlila to guarantee the wellbeing and security of individuals, particularly ladies.
