Andhadhun will reportedly have its remake in Telugu (Tollywood) soon, and Natural Star nani has been approached for it. The 35-year-old actor will be playing Ayushman Khurrana’s role in the Tollywood version.
Andhadhun is a black comedy crime thriller that tells the story of a piano player, who is pretending to be visually-impaired, unwittingly becomes entangled in several issues as he witnesses the murder of a previous in time or order film actor. The movie, which was released in October 2018, struck a chord with the filmgoers and became a blockbuster success at the worldwide box office.
The success of Andhadhun has created an enormous demand for its remake rights in various languages. The latest we hear is that noted Kollywood producer Thiagarajan has acquired its Tamil rights and he is keen on roping in his son Prashanth to reprise the role of Ayushman Khurrana in the Tamil version.
Andhadhun was written and directed by great Mr. sriram Raghavan. tabu and radhika apte have played the pivotal roles in the film, which has cinematography by KU Mohanan. The movie won three National Film Awards: Best Feature Film in Hindi, Best Actor for Khurrana, and Best Screenplay.
